Beautifully Disney Collection from Disney Parks ‘NAIL’ed It – Now Create Your Own Look

Art can come in any size, shape or form, right? Sisters, authors and artists Donne and Ginny Geer knew that, and have mastered the technique of this new type of art. What is it? Take a look!

“Beautifully

Yes, in fact, we’re talking nail art. As Donne and Ginny explained it: “Painting art on your fingertips turns a part of your body into a statement making accessory, in an essence ten tiny canvases. We like to think what we create, allows there be something for everyone, from easy designs that you can doodle to more ambitious hand-painted looks.”

If you are wondering how we came across these talented individuals, it was Beautifully Disney merchandiser Lisa Bergman who had that special eye for finding them. An avid reader of their blog, she soon discovered their salon just around the corner in Long Beach. Lisa constantly raved about this unique duo and couldn’t wait to see what they would do next. Drawing inspiration from fabrics, fashions, nature, moods, etc … the question soon became, if we gave you color choices from our two Beautifully Disney collections, Wickedly Beautiful and Unlock the Spell, what could you do? Well, we just found out and you are the very first to see it.

So how can you create a similar look with your own Beautifully Disney collection at home? Here are a few easy steps from Donne and Ginny, using colors from the new Unlock the Spell collection.

“Beautifully

Step 1 : Begin by polishing all your fingers with 2 coats of Let Your Hair Down. Wait until they are completely dry before moving on to the next step.

“Beautifully

Step 2: Place a few drops of Beautiful Bayou onto aluminum foil. Dip your paintbrush into the polish and make one curved line across the nail to establish the middle piece of the palm frond. Make wispy lines by swiping the tip of the brush toward the line you previously painted. Fill in remaining areas of the nail with another palm frond.

“Beautifully

Step 3: To paint the yellow flowers, begin by dropping some Beautifully Disney polish in Provincial Mademoiselle onto the foil. Use a dotting tool (or something with a fine tip) to make 3 dots in a half circle. Fill in the rest of the circle with 2 dots to complete the petals. Use the paintbrush to make the flower petals more angular. Complete each flower with a dot of Let Your Hair Down. Use your dotting tool to place a few yellow dots around the nail. Add a layer of fast drying topcoat and you’re set!

“Beautifully

If you like these, then be sure to check out some of their other amazing nail “art” designs in their new book, titled Nail Candy, which features over 50 ideas for totally cool nails.

Next step … I think I need to book an appointment to get my nails done by these two, don’t you? My friend Julie did it, which you can see here. Are you up for it, Erin Glover?

TRANSIT officers have been praised for their quick reflexes in breaking up a brawl on a Perth train that was caught on video and uploaded to Facebook last night.

In the brawl, two teenagers throw a series of punches in a fight which throws them across seats of the train.

It takes just seconds for transit security to come and break up the fight, where at one point an officer has to hold a teenager to the ground with his knee.

When the boys stop fighting they yell a series of insults at each other, where at one point one of the boys claims he has a gun.

The video was posted at 5.40pm and within 30 minutes had generated more than 400 likes and nearly 50 comments.

Commenters voiced their disgust at the brawl, with one person saying they were shocked someone would have a gun in Perth.

“That's the reason why I don't use public transport,” Ryan Jansen said.

“Never know whats gunna (sic) happen on transperth,” Patrick Crawley commented.

Opposition transport minister Ken Travers said he praised the work of the transit officers, who have “a tough job to do.”

“If you’re out there every night dealing with these disorderly people, you’ve got to be the line between acting quickly and using force,” he said.

“There is violence on our trains unfortunately, and that’s one of the reasons I always have absolute praise for them.

“There’s no doubt if we have enough transit officers and if they’re on the right trains at the right time they do act as a good deterrent.”

The WA Public Transport Authority said there had been no reported incidents on Perth trains yesterday.

Transport Minister Troy Buswell has been contacted for comment.

The video has since been deleted.

Stats: The WCHA Until Now

Since the WCHA is entering a new era of hockey, I decided it's time take a look at the the past.  Broken down in a couple sortable graphs, we have game outcomes and team accomplishments.  Keep in mind these numbers only reflects games that were played by teams while members of the WCHA and the leagues that preceded it.In 1951, The Midwest Collegiate Hockey League (MCHL) was created, thus being the very first nail that built the house that is the WCHA.  The Western Intercollegiate Hockey League (WIHL) formed for the 1953-54 season, and the WCHA finally played it's first season in1959-60 season.  These leagues are all included in the tables below.Also, on a side note, the season leading up to the formation of WCHA (1958-59) was a year where teams of the WIHL withdrawal from league play due to the recruiting practices of North Dakota, Denver and Colorado College.W/S - average wins per seasonL/S - average losses per seasonT/S - average ties per seasonGame Outcomes: TeamSeasonsGamesWinsLossesTiesWin %Loss %Tie %W/SL/ST/S Alaska Anchorage20691192422770.2780.6110.1119.6021.103.85Bemidji State31123858160.3390.5180.14312.6719.335.33Colorado College622179101610541090.4660.4840.05016.3917.001.76Denver62228813058521310.5700.3720.05721.0513.742.11Michigan Tech59210091610501340.4360.5000.06415.5317.802.27Minnesota62233713848031500.5920.3440.06422.3212.952.42Minnesota Duluth4718358168911280.4450.4860.07017.3618.962.72Minnesota State14543229252620.4220.4640.11416.3618.004.43Nebraska Omaha31165452100.4660.4480.08618.0017.333.33North Dakota62230113198581240.5730.3730.05421.2713.842.00St. Cloud State23911454375820.4980.4120.09019.7416.303.57Wisconsin44180410406441200.5760.3570.06723.6414.642.73Michigan30895490382230.5470.4270.02616.3312.730.77Michigan State30888393473220.4430.5330.02513.1015.770.73Northern Michigan13536263243300.4910.4530.05620.2318.692.31Notre Dame10373166190170.4450.5090.04616.6019.001.70table.sortable { border: 1px solid #b0b0b0; background-color: #f2f2f2; width: 100%; border-radius: 6px; -webkit-border-radius: 6px; -moz-border-radius: 6px; } table.sortable td, table.sortable th { padding: 5px; color: #5b150c; } table.sortable thead { font-family: "Lucida Sans Unicode", "Lucida Grande", sans-serif; padding: .2em 0 .2em .5em; text-align: center; color: #5b150c; background-color: #c8c8c8; background-image: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, from(#bf9000), to(#d9a300), color-stop(.6,#f2b600)); background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #ffd75d, #ffed36, #ebae00 90%); border-bottom: solid 1px #999; } table.sortable th { font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left; text-shadow: white 1px 1px 1px; } table.sortable td { line-height: 20px; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; border-bottom: 1px solid #b0b0b0; border-top: 1px solid #b0b0b0; } table.sortable td:hover { background-color: #fff; } HB - Hobey Baker AwardsRS - WCHA Regular Season ChampionsTC - WCHA Tournament ChampionsNCAA - NCAA Tournament AppearancesFF - Frozen Four AppearancesAccomplishments: TeamHBRSTCNCAAFFChamps Alaska Anchorage000000Bemidji State000000Colorado College2911551Denver1131523147Michigan Tech06910103Minnesota4141434205Minnesota Duluth533841Minnesota State000200Nebraska Omaha000100North Dakota2151127197St. Cloud State111810Wisconsin03121596Michigan030995Michigan State002331Northern Michigan013411Notre Dame000000table.sortable { border: 1px solid #b0b0b0; background-color: #f2f2f2; width: 100%; border-radius: 6px; -webkit-border-radius: 6px; -moz-border-radius: 6px; } table.sortable td, table.sortable th { padding: 5px; color: #5b150c; } table.sortable thead { font-family: "Lucida Sans Unicode", "Lucida Grande", sans-serif; padding: .2em 0 .2em .5em; text-align: center; color: #5b150c; background-color: #c8c8c8; background-image: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, from(#bf9000), to(#d9a300), color-stop(.6,#f2b600)); background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #ffd75d, #ffed36, #ebae00 90%); border-bottom: solid 1px #999; } table.sortable th { font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-align: left; text-shadow: white 1px 1px 1px; } table.sortable td { line-height: 20px; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; border-bottom: 1px solid #b0b0b0; border-top: 1px solid #b0b0b0; } table.sortable td:hover { background-color: #fff; } Enjoy.Questions?  Comments?  Ask Below!
